ConsultaNet has been contracted to Theodore Goddard since 1998 to supply on-site
network consultancy on a nearly full-time basis. Theodore Goddard (TG) is a large
firm of City solicitors specialising in corporate law, with very demanding service
levels and deploying the latest applications across a 500-node network.
Gordon Hill Working closely with TG's in-house IT team, ConsultaNet have assisted
in the evaluation and implementation of a wide range of core network products as
well as the support of the network infrastructure.
In addition, ConsultaNet have become an important supplier to TG of a wide range
of hardware and software. Areas where ConsultaNet have been instrumental in implementing and
supporting network systems include:
Novell Netware and Microsoft NT server builds and upgrades
Hosting NDS, IIS and SQL services
Development and maintenance of Intranet and Extranet services
Firewall and Internet security products
Configuration of network switches and routers
ConsultaNet have also provided technical support directly to TG's end users in the
form of desktop troubleshooting and occasional technical advice to the firm's lawyers
in support of client business.
Throughout TG's long association with ConsultaNet, the latter have always provided
a professional and responsive service and have approached the sometimes difficult
technical challenges with flexibility and commitment.
