There are a number of free utilities that can help to keep your PC free of Adware and Spyware.  We will install them and then show you how to use them.  Both adware and spyware are not viruses and are therefore NOT stopped by Anti-virus software.  

Adware & Spyware

These are small programs that infect your PC while you are browsing the Internet.  They are also often part of “so-called” free software and utilities.  Once on your PC the gather information on your Internet browsing where you go if you buy things etc.

This marketing information is then reported back to it’s masters and sold to businesses that wish to send you that cool spam email and junk mail. That is the innocuous end of the scale, moving further up (or should that be down) the “no scruples” ladder they will hijack your Internet Explorer home page  and deluge you with pop-ups and Internet advertising.  All this is bad enough but they use up your PC’s processor and memory to do it!
